Description:
This work bench was designed by a seasoned finish carpenter and home builder who saw a need and addressed it. This work bench is field tested and works. Beauty, Simplicity, Functionality describe this unique answer to an age old problem. It is amazing to me the attention my work bench is getting. This unit is the basic idea fleshed out in a functional design a carpenter can build in his shop. I have many improvements and details, I will be adding to the design. The main upgrade I am working on is a design to make this unit mass produceable and shipable. I would be interested in getting feed back from those who think this might be a good tool to bring to the market. Designer/Builder Ron Paulk www.paulkhomes.com

Amazing workshop! ...
Amazing workshop! like my own workshop it is meticulously clean and organized...I agree with what you said in reply to Plebscrubber, if someone left a mess in my workshop I'd send them packing too...nothing worse than a disorganised or unclean workshop = that is how amateurs operate in my opinion. Thanks for posting this vid

I see you front ...
I see you front loaded so the bench weight supports the saw. so this table is useless for any rips over 18"? you have to drag around a track saw? if your open minded it is possible to build a mobile system withe the saw mounted in proper orientation. allowing you one less tool on the trailer. i guess if it works for you thats what counts. your design has a few nice features but overall its not much better than just using an outfeed roller

As a home builder I ...
As a home builder I am looking for portability, not a sliding table saw. The wider stuff is handled with a track saw. Nothing over 18" is ripped and no cross cutting. Check out the other videos to see how the parallel guides and cross cut jig offer the function of larger shop saws, but remain portable. I had a cabinet shop with the big stuff, but sold it and good riddance. I like mobility.

Ron, overall I like ...
Ron, overall I like its mobility and the clamp layout. pro cabinet shops all in common the saws allways side mounted. I have to ask why is yours front mounted? inefficient use of a saw trying to cut larger pieces of stock. do you only rip long skinny lengths. there is no length to your fence.now some constructive advice. ability to side mount a saw would be foremost. you could incorporate a sled fence sideways. also a drop in router accessory with sled. im not knocking you its a good start.

Maybe Mr. P likes to clean up after himself? Don't be a jerk just because you can. I could say that only one of the five videos of yours that I watched had more than 50% thumbs up... But who would that help?

Nice advertisement. Everywhere you take your workbench out of your trailer it's instant recognition of above average craftsmanship. This is good advertisement, its not that pay per click crap from the rest of the Internet.
