That being said -- the new design format is unacceptable. ***NO OFFENSE*** to the multiple hundreds of people and hours spent to develop it. Youtube.. PLEASE DON'T FORCE THIS !! I understand youtube doesn't want to get left in the dust when it comes to internet design.. and they don't want the "cluttered oldschool myspace look" to happen with all the customizables... BUT.... Changes that MUST be made to the "new design": ABILITY TO MAKE SUBCRIBERS INFORMATION PRIVATE ---- like subscriber names, and numbers (as the old profile allowed) Customizable page options (transparency color font etc as the old profile allowed) Channel comments on front page as default (as the old profile allowed) ================================= Those three changes to the NEW design would make it somewhat more ideal.

the new design being foreced was just a distraction... youtube/google changed alot more over the last months, try making a new account and you'll see it goes deeper than just the layout..

That's the whole point. It's really NOT about an ugly new layout. It is a NEW FORMAT, which controls & changes our behaviour. Directing us away from channels - where YOU chose what to watch - to the watch page & then you'll ONLY see what THEY suggest to you. Nobody knows this, but on March 14, they also changed their algorithm for the watch page. If you're an uploader, I bet your views have dropped. And you're losing subs as well

In my humble opinion, the design is boring and has very little individual syle. It is not user-friendly and often does not respond to the commands. YouTube used to be be a lot busier. In my experience people are not using it like they did, probably because they find it too hard to use and do not have the time to learn the new layout.

I have an idea, why don't they just remove all channels overall, its not much of a channel now anyways so why not. THESE ASSHOLES are probably planning this for the next "GREAT" update anyways so get prepared for no channels soon, youll just have an account with a username and thats it, no channels to customize anymore.

A youtube page is now mostly just gray blank space. But its Google so we don't get a say about it. But it is a shame they took so many features away. It won't be long now before they drop you if you do not use G-mail for your e-mail. By summer all of us will have to have a G-mail account like all the new users do. They plan to eliminate comments. They have already hid them. Then they will start charging for access. You will not have a say about it. Its a take it or leave it company.
