Description:
This is my theory on how it all happened, and since you cant prove that it DIDN'T happen this way, it must be correct. (Just an idea that came to me on the bus one day.) Just for fun, this one. Nothing too serious here. Although I'm looking forward to the creationists' defense of the wacky things inherent in our sexual biology. There are far too many to put into one video. Not to mention the reasoning behind Yahweh's attitude to things like foreskins and dead goats. Part of the inspiration came in the form of a book by Rick Warren that I happened to have contact with, called "A Purpose Driven Life", in which he teaches that the entire life purpose for every single human is to worship Yahweh. That's apparently why we're here. A being who makes something other than himself in order to be worshipped. That's not godly, it's pathetic! It is so small, so petty .... so essentially humanly fragile!! So I sent it up in this movie. Hey - he made the universe in order to house some beings who would worship him - it's not such a stretch to imagine that he might alter a few details of that design in order to get a little bit MORE worship, is it? ____________________________ Best comment so far: from BorgHub "thank you satan for making us horny as hell and having our women bleed out of their vaginas"

Video duration: 10 min.

@ObservableFiction ...
@ObservableFiction Then I wouldn't call them Christians if they don't follow their holy book.

I loved this whole thing, but what really got me was "pfff-ff okay if I win, they have to dangle outside the body in an ugly, hairy bag made of chicken skin!" LOOOOOOL

That was all ...
That was all sarcasm. I know it doesn't come across through type well, but I thought it was clear enough when I repeated you have to subjectively interpret the objective laws of God a couple times. But Poe's law strikes again.

"Just the old ...
"Just the old testament"? So, everything in the old testament is invalid? The ten commandments are no good? Got ya! So, we have to be subjective in interpreting the objective laws given by your god? I never knew that the first half was invalid and the the second half we can interpret it however we like. I see how it works now. Well, I'll use my subjective interpretation to agree with the objective law and make a virgin girl marry her rapist. Maybe we can find a few homosexuals to stone as well!

Craigmw45 on 2012-03-29
Yes but of course ...
Yes but of course all that is just the old testament. Look you have to relize that God is the sole source of objective moral laws. What your doing is simply trying to do it read everything literally. You have to be subjective in your interpretation of the moral code laid down by God. Only then, with subjective interpretation of divinely inspired scripture will you realize that only God is the objective moral law giver, so long as you read it subjectively. I can't believe you don't know that. :)

So was Lucifer ...
So was Lucifer cheating when he revealed there to be 2 6 of spades in the deck? Or was that just a mistake?

This vid is ...
This vid is hilarious and could quite possibly be how it happened. And for me I choose hell (if there is one, but I doubt it) because why would I get punished for refusing to worship a god (the same belief system as the devil) I believe that the devil would reward me

and? what if when ...
and? what if when you die, you will go to the hindu hell cause their god mght be the real god or maybe what about allah, or hell, maybe even zeus is the real god. they all have the same amount of viable evidence for their actual existence as the christian god does. so why should i believe any one of them exist? i would rather just take the world as it is and try to be a good person who contributes to the betterment of the whole. we dont need a bible to do that, just realize we are all we got.

No. Pascal's wager ...
No. Pascal's wager is a scaring tactic. It is about trying to scare people into believing. How is that a good ground for any belief in a religion. If you only believe because of fear of punishment, then you donot truly believe because you believe in the god you are supposed to be believing in. If god does exist then he will know that reason for your faith and you will go to hell anyway for not truly believing in him. So you go around again. God's an ass.

Coldretter on 2012-03-22
while you are ...
while you are correct, belief is not a choice, pascal wagers does address the false belief scenario. he says going to church and being around other people that believe will make you believe eventually

thedutchman01 on 2012-03-21
And what does ...
And what does anything of what you just typed have to do with the points I brought up? Next time, please adress the points I raised, donot try and change the subject. I was talking about just some of the obvious ways in which Pascal's wager fails and you come with an example about knocking on peoples doors? Right now I am thinking that either you can't defend your position or your a troll.

lewiss1100 on 2012-03-21
I have always ...
I have always believed in God, but I was not always a follower of God. Its not about a religion but a relationship. An example I heard recently: If I was to knock on a rich persons home, being a stanger, & I said I've come to live with you. Do you think that person would open the door & let me come in? Most likely not! But, if I came to their door having a relationship with them, they would let me in with open arms! Just as we become sons of God, we enter into His kingdom!

thedutchman01 on 2012-03-21
[part 2] Besides ...
[part 2] Besides that. If god does exist and the only reason I say I believe is because of fear, which is what Pascal's wager is about, then he will know I never truly believed. I only said I believed. And thus I will go to hell anyway. Atleast this way I can be honoust and say I didn't believe. What would you rather have? Someone admitting they were wrong, or someone persisting in a lie when you caught them? Belief is not a switch you can turn on/off. You either believe or you don't
