Through the work of countless volunteer missionaries, medical teams and financial contributors from Kansas to Florida, God has equipped Trash Mountain Project to bring about radical change for the students, staff, and community surrounding Kids With a Hope Ministries. Beginning with just a simple call to help a pastor in need, Trash Mountain Santiago has grown into a multi-phase construction and community development plan designed to share Christ's restorative and sacrificial love with those otherwise forgotten by society. Including the development of: permanent medical and dental clinics, expanded kitchen and school facilities, a nutrition and daily feeding program, technical skills training, horticulture and aquaculture development, and an increased emphasis on Bible education, the "Hope Project" will meet fundamental needs and provide for sustainable educational advancements in an effort to break the cycle of poverty surrounding the garbage dump. Trash Mountain Project is honored to take part in God's provision for the amazing children of the Santiago city dump.

Kid eats space twinkie - high altitude balloon project

Geoff (14) and I spent over 8 months building and planning this flight. Geoff studied for and passed the FCC exam to operate a ham radio station so that we could track the balloon as it flew. One of the fun things Geoff wanted to test was what would happen to a Twinkie after a wild ride over 3x as high as the airlines fly :) So we sent an unwrapped Twinkie up to an altitude of 95 thousand feet above the earth strapped to a weather balloon - and then Geoff ate it. In addition to the Twinkie we sent up a marshmallow (which swelled as the pressure dropped and according to the kids tasted "normal") some cameras (a Go Pro HD and Canon G9 running CHDK) and temperature sensors connected to an Arduino... Between the Twinkie and the marshmallow are some Rudy bracelets in honor of our sweet little friend Rudy - rudysbeat.com Visit http for photos and graphs of all the data collected. RandomKid marks the opening of a school in Cambodia that the kids named FOR EACH OTHER. Attending the event are 5 children from the USA representing 70 children from 19 countries around the world who participated in this project. The children suggested Pwoje Espwa as a name for the project, which is Haitian Creole for Project Hope. Pwoje Espwa is a multi-faceted program serving the needs of over 1000 children in this impoverished nation. The non-sectarian project is supported by private donations and fundraising efforts. 62 school children see ufo land and alien beings come out

Ruwa is a small farming community in South Africa and news from the small town rarely gets out. On September 16, 1994, the children and teachers at Ariel School reported seeing a UFO that landed. This happened during recess time and the student's ages ranged from 5-12 years. 62 kids were outside the school during the incident with one adult supervising (sold food and drinks, mother of one of the kids). What also makes this case interesting is reports of possible UFOs in the skies over Zimbabwe two days before the incident which the children were unaware of. The students at Ariel saw three UFOs in the skies disappear and reappear in different places with one of them landing. The UFO landed very close in a heavily wooded area which was off-limits to children. The students described a small human-like being on top of the craft who was 3 ft. (1 meter) tall, dark suit, slender neck, long black hair, large eyes and came towards the children. The being disappeared after he "watched" the children and took off in the craft. Many of the children were frightened by the little man and when they told the mother at the snack bar, she didn't believe them. Nerdfighters in bangladesh - project for awesome

This is the story of the Dharmarajika Monastery in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was formed in the 1960s by a respected Buddhist Venerable. During the Bangladesh War of Liberation which killed over 3 million people, the Buddhist Venerable setup an orphanage for children who lost parents during the war. Since then, the orphanage has turned into a hostel for both children without parents and those from poor families. No children are adopted - rather the Dharmarajika Orphanage serves as a dormitory giving kids a place to stay, food to eat, and a free education. Those staying in the hostel are allowed to continue to be residents if they want to pursue higher education after graduation. The monastery is trying to sustain this hostel through several income generating initiatives. They also charge tuition for their school for families in the surrounding community who are able to afford it. But, unfortunately, it's never enough to do everything and there are often shortfalls. This is where the YouTube community was able to step in. The Uncultured Project project is not a charity or organization. FAQ: So what is this video? This is 10000 cars that are driven at the same map and is merged together for a car mess. 44 people drove this map some times a day and no robotics involved. Why are the cars transparent? Its because its impossible to make this while rendering all replays together. What the director did, was to render 500 replays a time and then merge the clips in the end. This create a transparent effect. Better have this effect, than no video :) Why is it a world record? This is the video with most cars on screen recorded in trackmania history. _________________________________________________ Molki's dream, 10000 replays on one map. After 2 years of hard work, lots of tests and crashes, it's finally finished. Proteus, the creator of the famous World Record with Trackmania Nations: 1500 replays was supposed to make this video, but his harddrive crashed and lost his work. Flash mob - positive feeling - wales millenium centre

On 3rd December, 2011 unsuspecting Christmas shoppers got a big surprise at the Wales Millennium Centre. Over 70 people spontaneously burst into song and dance in this awesome Flash Mob, choreographed by Natalie Spiteri, marking the dates of performances for the Torchbearers - Mzansi Cymru (coming to the Donald Gordon Theatre in July 2012). This is a must see! The Mzansi Cymru project is spearheaded by Welsh charity Valleys Kids, seeking to create mutually beneficial sustainable links with inspirational organizations in Cape Town: Fezeka High School Choir, Dance for All and Zip Zap Circus School, who will join Welsh community participants for the final culmination in July 2012. This project is part of Wales 'Power of the Flame' funded by Legacy Trust UK, celebrating the Cultural Olympiad in Wales and creating a lasting legacy from the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Recorded: 5/27/2010 Original Alpha Kid, Michael Edwards pays a visit to the foundation and recalls some of the behind the scenes tricks that he and Steve Shaw (Banachek) did during the MacLab test. From Wikipedia: Project Alpha was an elaborate hoax orchestrated by the stage magician and skeptic James Randi. It involved planting two fake psychics, Steve Shaw (now better known as Banachek) and Michael Edwards, into a paranormal research project. During the initial stages of the investigation, the researchers came to believe that the pair's psychic powers were real. However, more formal experiments, as well as criticism from both the parapsychology community and Mr. Randi himself, led them to dismiss their initial trust.[1] The hoax was later revealed publicly.
